The Mamadou Diabate Ensemble...
Months ago, I promised that I'd try and post a longer piece by this incredible musician... That's a Kora gourd, strung as a harp... Incredible music, from a toweringly tall, and amazingly sweet man-- he played a traditional Malian anniversary song for my parents-- who celebrated their 50th that weekend) at the Wheatland Music Festival, last fall. They were awestruck.
